Orly Shnaider, ROÂ Â –Â General Manager & Optician
Not only is Orly a great Optician who’s ready to fit you with your new funky specs, as the General Manager she’s also the engine that keeps everything moving smoothly and efficiently here at Metroptical. Orly manages all aspects of the Optical Dispensary from orders & manufacturing to quality control as well as coordinating with our on-site Optometry office for referrals to vision care specialists & Ophthalmologist eg. Cataracts, Glaucoma, Dry-eye & more.

Eric Shnaider, ROÂ Â –Â Â Senior Optician & CEO
Over the last 17 years Eric Shnaider has trained & worked with industry leaders and professionals in the Opticianry and Optometry field. Eric is the Founder & CEO of Metroptical Inc. (Established in 2012) as well as a Registered Optician (RO) in Ontario meeting all standards of practice. Eric continues to develop & push Metroptical Inc. to new heights with new innovative services and solutions. As an Optician, Eric specializes in complicated frame adjustments & repairs as well as fitting and troubleshooting new cutting edge eyeglass lenses and contacts.
As a Registered Optician, Eric is committed to continuing education in eye care and as such he is ready to answer questions and guide you and the whole family in the right direction for all your vision needs. With Eric’s help, you are guaranteed to find the perfect frame that will meet your individual taste.
Optometrists
In Canada, an Optometrist is a health care professionals who provide primary eye care through comprehensive eye examinations. They diagnose and manage various vision abnormalities including refractive errors as well as various eye diseases. Optometrists typically work closely together with other eye care professionals such as Ophthalmologists and Opticians to deliver quality and efficient eyecare to the general public.
Dr. Amy Law O.D.
Dr. Amy Law received her Honours Bachelor of Science Degree and Doctor of Optometry Degree from University of Waterloo with Dean’s Honours List distinction. Dr. Law completed internships in various locations including ophthalmology and optometry clinic in the Detroit, Michigan VA hospital and in Hong Kong. She has received extensive training in therapeutic treatment and management of ocular disease under glaucoma, retinal and cataract specialist.
Dr.Law had the pleasure of participating in a charity mission where she provided primary optometric care and dispensed eyeglasses to underprivileged people in Honduras. She has broad experience in family eye care, including contact lenses fitting, ocular health, eye surgery co-management, pediatric, geriatric and primary care. Dr.Law is multi lingual and she is fluent in English, Chinese and Mandarin.

Dr. Areefa Arefin OD
Dr. Areefa Arefin has been practicing optometry in Toronto, Ontario for twelve years. She earned her Doctorate of Optometry from the State University of New York College of Optometry and double majored with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology and Middle Eastern Studies cum laude with honors from New York University in New York City.
Dr. Arefin has recieved optometric training from the Montrose Veterans Affairs Hospital where she provided eye care to veterans. Â She also trained at the St. Albans Glaucoma Referral Center in Jamaica, NY, where she spent time screening and managing patients for glaucoma. Â At the SUNY Optometry Eye Clinic she had extensive training in Ocular Disease, Pediatrics, Vision therapy, and Low Vision.
